Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood is often considered as the best anime show of all time. The artwork, music, story telling, animation, character customization-in every aspect the show is flawless. As the story tells, alchemy is a science of transmuting. By performing alchemy one can manipulate objects to transform into another object. But, there is a law of Alchemy- "Equivalent exchange". Which means, in order to gain something you have to sacrifice something else. That means, Alchemy can't create things. It just manipulate things to transform. That means you can fix a broken glass by alchemy but, you can not do that if you don't have the broken piece of that thing.
The main protagonist of the show is Edward Elric, Who lost his one arm and leg and his younger brother's body in a alchemical accident. After loosing her brothers body completely Edward managed to attach his brother's soul in a armor by sacrificing his own arm and leg.
After that, they come to know that, by the help of the Philosophers stone they will be able to get back their body completely. Then, they start to find the Philosophers stone to get fixed. That's where the show starts
